In Waumba Land, we focus on 3 big ideas:
God made me.
God loves me.
Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
We believe in an active, hands-on approach to learning with preschool children.Your kids can plan on a lot of jumping, singing, dancing, and laughter, while being surrounded by leaders who care for them. We also teach Bible stories to our preschool kids, allowing them to actively participate and engage a new story each week!
Rooms and teaching are age-specific.
Waumba Land is offered during both our
9:15am and 11:15am services.

What we are learning this January!
We want children to know that Jesus is a friend that loves them at ALL times—a friend that will never leave them! That’s why, this month, we are talking about THE best friend—the One who is ALWAYS a good friend. Rain or shine, Jesus is always a good friend of mine.
What we are learning this February!
This month, our preschoolers will learn that Jesus loves them. Jesus loves their family, Jesus loves their friends, Jesus loves everyone! And Jesus wants everyone to follow Him! So, crank up that bus! Get those wheels turning! There is a great big world that needs to hear that Jesus loves everyone!
"One Can A Week" Food Drive
UpStreet and Waumba Land (Infants-5th Grade) have an ongoing partnership with #lovechattanooga to serve our community throughout the year by bringing in canned goods. Each week, kids are invited to bring in canned food and/or dry goods to church that will then be donated to the Chattanooga Food Bank.
