Starting The Year On A Sustaining Foundation

There is something about a brand new year that has us asking ourselves: what are we going to do differently this year? Oftentimes the Church can even lean into a message of doing something different in the new year, however, the problem with that is it can lead us to stand on a foundation of us, instead of a foundation of God’s love and what He has done for us. In this message, we look at the invitation that scripture gives us to abide in Christ and receive sustaining life from what He has already done for us and how beginning with Him can lead us to live our lives from a place of rest instead of striving to be better.
